What We Believe at NPCC
This is Christ’s Church. Here through services of worship, prayer, and meditation, we come close to God and our fellow man. We gain strength to bear our burdens, find comfort in our sorrow, and rejoice in our victories. This Church is here to serve Christ and help you. Our aim is to minister to all people, regardless of color or station in live.

Acts 11:26-28; 1 Peter 4:16; Colossians 1:18
We wear the name “Christian.” This name brings honor to the Christ whom we belong. This church is not a denomination nor a part of a group of denominations, but the body of Christ. We believe the Church is the Bride of Christ and Christ is the Bridegroom.

Acts 2:30; 22:16; Romans 6:1-6
We teach obedience to the New Testament Ordinances:
a.) Baptism by immersion. Baptism is for the remission of sins.
Acts 2:42; 20:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2
b.) Weekly Communion.

Hebrews 11:6; James 2:22,24: Acts 2:38, 8:36-38; 1 Peter 3:20-21; Revelation 2:10; Hebrews 5:9.
We teach the same conditions of pardon as taught by Christ and the apostles. Faith, Repentance, Confession, Baptism, and being Faithful to Christ until death.

2 Timothy 3:16
We believe the New Testament is the fulfillment of the Word of God from the mouths of the prophets as recorded in the Old Testament. While fully accepting the Old Testament as inspired, we recognize that now, in Christ, we are not under the Law, but through the sacrifice of Christ wherein we trust and place our hope, we are under God’s mercy, saved by His grace through faith in Christ. Thus, we rely upon the writings found in the New Testament to guide the Church of Christ in matters of practice, and chiefly, for our faith in the Son of God while recognizing the important and vital doctrines of faith found in the Old Testament. Indeed, the Bible alone is all sufficient as the only guide for every Christian to do the will of God.

John 17:20-21; Ephesians 4:16.
We plead for the Unity of all believers upon the Divine plan for Christianity. We do not believe in Union or Federation. We believe in UNITY of God’s people. We love all people and pray that all will forsake man made ways and means and accept the Lord Jesus Christ and His way.
…that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and contains God’s will for our lives. The Bible is our only guide for faith and practice. Therefore we have resolved to pattern our congregation after the example of the New Testament church.
2 Timothy 3:16
…that the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to save the lost and edify the saved.
Colossians 1:18, 28; Matthew 28:18-20 & Ephesians 4:11-16
… that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
… that the terms of membership in the church are the same as the terms of salvation: faith in Christ, confession of Christ as Lord, repentance of sins & immersion into Christ
…that the Body of Christ should assemble on the Lord’s Day to share in the Lord’s Supper.
Acts 20:7
…that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial with the specified purposes of bringing to mind the sacrifice that Christ made to atone for our sins whereby He instituted the New Covenant in His blood; and to corporately testify of the Resurrection and the belief that Christ will return just as He said.
Luke 22:17-20; 1 Corinthians 11:26
