Hatian Christian Missions
Helping Earthquake Refugees
Scores of earthquake refugees are already
pouring into the Cap Haitian vicinity. All of
them are homeless, and many are injured,
orphaned, jobless, etc.
The purpose of HCM Haiti Relief is to minister
to the pressing needs of Hatian refugees now
streaming out of souther Haiti info the north.
The IMMEDIATE need for the next few weeks
is MONEY. We need to get food and water
into the hands of these people and money is
the only way to do it quickly. Fortunately,
Haitian Christian Ministries has the
transactional mechanisms and accountability
measures already in place to make sure ALL
donations are used effectively and go
directly to meet these desperate needs.
After a few weeks we will likely need to shift
our relief efforts. We will then begin asking
individual and churches to collect rice,
beans, and other dry goods, soap,
toothpaste, toothbrushes. Displaced
individuals and families will need these
basic items in order to function at a basic

changing needs of these victims.
Here are some easy ways to help:
1. PRAY: Pray for God’s children who are suffering through this tragedy,and pray for His hand to work in Haiti over the next several years of rebuilding.
